Farmer's Market: from late Spring through mid Fall, Arlington District and Vassar College host the Arlington Farmer's Market ever Thursday evening from 4pm to 7pm on the Vassar College Alumnae House Lawn. Join the festivities for farm grown produce, organic cheese, flowers, crafts and much more. (There is plenty of parking along Raymond Ave, directly in front of the Alumnae House lawn, and more on Collegeview and College Avenues.)

Garden Art Space: Vassar College students have teamed up with school children and community residents in Arlington to transform an empty lot on Raymond Avenue into the "Garden Art Space," a usable green space for creative community programming. During annual "BIG Art" workshops to create large-scale public art, campus and neighborhood members have already made a mural, a community fence, and mosaic tile benches and sculptures.

Arlington is a district within the Town of Poughkeepsie, and is therefore active in all Poughkeepsie Town events and happenings. Please visit the town website at www.townofpoughkeepsie.com.
